It came from a dream, and wishes from many indigenous filmmakers who have made films but often wasn’t able to get to festivals, sold their work to sales agents or distribution companies on the international market.

Therefore, after a few years thinking about it, I decided to create TulluT. An consulting agency that focuses on indigenous films and filmmakers with the European film market as its main focus. 

As it stands now there is no sales agency or distribution company that focuses on indigenous films or filmmakers, mainly because there are not many indigenous films coming out every year and the film industry in Indigenous areas is still being established and miss proper training for filmmakers. 

Indigenous filmmakers are mainly trying to sell their film via the different festival film market in Europe or they get help from their countries film institute’s/Association. But unfortunately they do not have the necessary network as they are filmmakers and not sales agents. At the same time a lot of sales agencies or distribution companies need to understand the different indigenous film and filmmakers from the many different parts of the world where there are indigenous people.

This creates a problem for both indigenous films and the international film market, as none has the right network, tools, or insight for both sides to get the films to the market in Europe
